OMG
This year has been the year for death for such a small town.
I live in Centralia Missouri, and if you don't know where that is, then I don't blame you.
It is such a small town. I don't see how any of us made it here.
Anyway so far this year there have been 4 deaths that are close to me.
The first one was Emily Powell.
Only 15 years old.
She was a very nice person and always supported people.
She never gave up on anything.
She was the nicest person that you could have ever met.
She was at a "special" Olympic thing to support those special needs people.
She was the only on cheering.
Everyone asked her why she was cheering.
She said because no matter who you are, you should get the same respect and they need our support more than anyone else does.
She passed away because of a rare tick disease.
She passed away August 29, 2007.
Then there was Jill Gooding.
Mrs. Gooding was one of the best teachers that you could have.
She always got her point across and always made sure that we were having fun.
She was a really fun teacher.
If someone was down she knew how to cheer them up.
She was always there for everyone.
If she didn't know you, then she would go up to you and see how you were doing.
Then she would get to know you and that was that.
You would be best friends with her for the rest of your life.
She would go to church with me and we would talk after it and catch up on things.
She was a great teacher.
She passed of cancer.
Then there was Steven Flenoid.
Only 17 years old.
He was a great guy.
He was there for people when they needed it the most.
He always did the stupidest stuff to make you laugh.
If you wanted to do something stupid..well he was the person to go to.
He would help you do it without getting caught.
He was a cool person.
He passed away of an overdose.
He either mixed his medication with a sleeping pill or took to many sleeping pills.
He passed away on April 2, 2008
Last but not least Angelia Benoit.
Only 45 years old.
Angelia Benoit was one of my best friends mom.
She will be missed by most.
My mom will miss her a lot.
My mom and her would go to mine and kelsey's basketball
and talk the entire time.
Then after the basketball games she would come up to me and
either give me advise or tell me how good i was.
Lol she loved to see me play.
She always said that one day I will make it to the all star team.
Whenever I got hurt during a game, she would be the first over to see
what was wrong and she if she could help.
She was always kind and helpful.
She died on mine and my bf's one month anniversary.
She passed away of cancer.
She passed away July 16, 2008.
