I can not stand stupid people. I get this from every member of my family. I am not talking about those who are slow or have problems understanding. Usually these people work hard to do the best they can and I admire that. I am talking about those who act stupid on purpose or just don't try. Anime randomness is not stupidity; a somewhat understanding of randomness is needed to make it funny or it is not random, and thus stupid. I supose this is true for other clicks like the jocks and the punk-rockers, but some people are just morons.
Example: Worker at local store.
I am shoping with my grandmother at our local wholesale store and they have everything. Whether it be food, furniture, clothing, movies ect... they have it. My grandpa loves to read and goes through novels like water, so my grandma always picks up five or six 700-1000 page books for him to read each week. As we put our items on the checkstand the checkstand clerk is giving us funny looks. A young male, I hesitate to say man, maybe 18 or 19 was ringing us up and finnaly came to the books when he stoped. He said to my grandmother, and I quote, "Geez lady, don chu do anything but reed all day? Go to da movies or somthin'. Live for ---- sake."
OMG... This moron did not just take the lord's name in vain in front of my grandmother.... and with poor English too... I slowly backed away as my grandmother puffed out her chest in impending doom.
Now my grandmother is a calm and gentle lady with a kind face and typical grandmothery behavoirs, but DO NOT take the lords name in vain in front of her or berate ANY of her or her husband's hobbies. I don't think I can even repeat what she said because I am sure I blocked it all out. After her five minute full-steam rant at the top of her lungs and $62.85 later, we left the poor boy almost in tears.
I laughed the whole way home.
