Hi everyone,

I'm writting the following following entry because tomorrow I have to undergo a surgery, and since it's a little complicated (at least 8 hours under the knife, as a matter of fact). I'm writting this entry just before I have to go to the hospital to be admitted, so it will be a while until I get the chance to write another one ^^

What's wrong, you wonder? Basically, my jaw is blocking half of my air way, partly because of crappy genetics, and partly because of pure bad luck sweatdrop

Problem is, that although this condition in no way makes me look strange, it causes a ton of related complications, such as not being able to breathe properly, having almost permanent (and anoying) headaches and diminished audition (think of it like walking through life with your ears covered or underwater), to mention a few.

So the doctors are going to perform the following: Mandibular Sagittal Split Osteotomy, a Genioplasty, and a Le Fort I Osteotomy. Basically, that means that my face from the eyes down is going to become kinda like a jigsaw puzzle, and the doctors will rearange the pieces to eliminate all the problems I mentioned before.

The doctors are estimating that I will be in the hospital at least a week, while the time needed to make a full recovery will be at the very least 3 months...

Although I am nervous, I trust God, and know that everything will be alright...my parents on the other hand, are a basket case ^^

As soon as I'm able, I'll be back in Gaia, ready to help my friends as much as I can, as always heart
