This is definitely not one of my greatest pictures, but I love it nonetheless. This drawing was done earlier today and is of some of the main characters of DUSK, a novel I'm currently writing. The main character is the girl in the middle, Nicole. The old lady with the piece of paper to the right is Lucille Conolly. The badass-looking dude wielding the wooden spoon in Raymond Fournier. And, the white-haired otherworldly fellow at the top is Kianu.
Here's a summary of the novel if you haven't heard of it from me by now:
Nicole is just your ordinary sixteen-year-old girl living in rural Connecticut... until she begins working at the mysterious local bakery, Dusk Bakery. She is forced to pay off the debt for knocking over an extremely expensive cake to the eccentric old woman who owns the business, Lucille Conolly. At first, Nicole is disappointed about her new part-time job... until Lucille gives her the ability to see the supernatural! Now, Nicole must work as a delivery girl to the world's strangest bakery that caters to the supernatural. But she's in for a few surprises! Her co-worker is dead, she must make a delivery to the local library at night to a shady "bookworm", she must act as a match-maker to two nature spirits, and Nicole must tolerate the presence of a socially-awkward rain spirit. This is a story where people change and pasts are revealed. You won't want to miss it!
If you're still reading this, chances are that you'd want to read DUSK, as well! If you want to read my story, just ask me and I'll e-mail it to you or something like that. mrgreen
