As a writer
As it is the very beginning stages of my literary career, of course I am bound to think some of the following.
The language
I can write fluently both English and Finnish, my native tongue. It is rather hard to choose.
The style
A very important point. Of course the style one starts with is bound to reform and fine tune itself as one writes, but one must have something to work with.
The genre and format
In other words, will one write sci-fi, fantasy, history, drama, romance.. And if one wants to write novels, short stories, jokes, columns, a whole book.. The possibilities are really endless.
Until now I have been writing mainly fiction and fantasy, in the format of a novel and short story. I also have a few columns under my belt. And although some of my works have found their way into books, I've yet to make that one, great breakthrough. But one day, Oh glorious day! I will.
