It's been ages, so it's time for another update.
I've been slowing down on Gaia a lot lately. I used to spend a lot of time in the GCD, but between misplaced threads and the formulaic nature in which people create new ones, it's become really dull. I still check there because it's the only major forum I'm interested in, though. It IS still a wonderful place for news, especially when it comes to items that are released but not announced.
Because I haven't been spending a ton of time on Gaia, my quests have kind of languished. I REALLY want a Fall of the Evening Star, but the price is rediculous. When they announced they would allow people to purchase them through the cash shop during the black friday sale, I got really excited. 50 bucks though?
It was too tempting! I decided to buy some cash and do it. I couldn't stay up late enough for the first day it was in the shop, so I decided to get it the next day. Right when it went on sale......
My internet went out for 4 days. :/
So, no Fall of the Evening Star. I picked up a Lovely Lucie and that Pistolera recolor instead. I'm happy with them, but I would have been happier with the wishlist item that had highest priority! As of this post, the price for the Fall of the Evening Star is around 6.4mil. It was 14, back in the day, then went down to around 7. The black friday sale didn't really lower it all that much more, which means I'm going to be questing for ages to get it. :/
When did things start getting so expensive? Sheesh!
