When I was drafted they game me peach pinkish body armor, the best optical and audio equipment availible. My weapon was a good make, just needed to learn to use it and keep it sharp. I went through 19 long years of basic training, getting onto KP countless times and butting heads with my COs. I'm lucky I didn't get a court-martial.
But now I should be deployed. It's coming round the bend and I'm not sure what to do.
My life as a "child" should be over, but I'm not ready.
