wow, have i really been away from a computer for that long?
so i got the job...yay. things went ok for a while. i've been to busy with other things and generally ok enough to not have a great need to find a way to write one of these.
i just got dumped though, not hard, really, but it is still very painful, and i really haven't had time to let it effect me, cause i'm at work. to top off the less than spectacular feelings, my boss is insane...that or a lot less wise than i gave him credit for. i had to do the first part of a task that i thought had been taken care of days ago. there was a pretty hefty miscommunication on the next task which meant i thought i had pretty much finished it, when i noticed the error, so i had to do the whole thing over again, slowing down customers in the process.
then, he decides he needs to stow some things out of the way, which i can respect, but brings in a filthy piece of equipment, with my help i might add, and leave it right in front of the door, where every customer is going to walk in and see it. he keeps bringing his damn dog to work, which is also about as unprofessional as you can be, and wonders why business isn't picking up.
