Unknown to the Innocent
What a joyous moment
A child is born
She smiles for the first time;
But she doesn’t know
Pain, suffering, war, sorrow, crime
The horrors of our world
Her gentle laughter fills the air
And yet,
Elsewhere…
Someone is being murdered,
Someone’s committing suicide
A nation’s situation
Is considered homicide
Everywhere: pollution
With dreams of a resolution
Never to be
Still this child’s wide eyes
Are content and full of glee
Such innocence,
Soon to be corrupted
And soon to form opinions,
Smiles
Maybe it’s good to leave her be
Just for a little while

You better not read this D:< I'm warning you....^_^ it's too gruesome!
Poems, mostly. I also put in my ideas for new stories because i'm going to be a writer some day! So yeah, most of my own work, rarely i'll add in a favorite song!
