Okay so, I had an eye exam today. No issue, go to the wal*mart, Dad dropped me off, it's 9:30 and I'm supposed to be there for 10:30 so I go around Wal*mart with no rhyme nor reason. Grab a bite to eat, and go over to the place. Had to wait another 15 or 20 minutes, because there was only one doctor. Filled out my paper work. No big deal right? Right.
But, afterwords it's 11:45, my dad's long gone and I've gotta find my own way home. No big deal, there's a bus. I can get home that way, right? WRONG! The bus doesn't go from Wal*mart to Hamburg. No, it goes to Reading. The wrong freaking way. Alright, fine I'll wait for the next bus and it turns out, none of the buses go to Hamburg from Wal*mart. But, 2 or 3 miles down the road, there is a Redners that does go to Hamburg (the bus). So, I walk there, just missed that one, it's 1:30 now, I grab a bite to eat again as I'm hungry, grab a few ice teas and wait outside in the shade, around 2:30 the bus comes and I'm flagging it down grabbing my wallet to pay my ticket. Guess what he does? The little ******** drives right past me totally ignoring me. And keeps going.
I run after it, (yelling very loudly I might add) obscenities after the bus. It stops and drops some people off about 200 feet away from me as I run towards it, but my pants (which were 2 sizes too big for me now, and I didn't wear a belt for whatever reason) start to fall, and I'm forced to stop or trip with my pants around my ankles. I decided to keep my dignity.
So, the bus is gone, and I'm yelling obscenities again. I'm extremely angry and I keep walking, I took the long way and it was an extra mile and a half 2 miles. Oh, by the way, from Wal*Mart to Redners is about 2 or 3 miles, if I didn't say that already. And it's blazingly bright out here, no shade I'm on a flat road, no trees in sight to hide under. And I'm walking, I get to the town of Leesport. And I keep walking, another mile or 2 goes by, and I'm starting to burn. Mind you, I'm wearing my usual all black, teeshirt, jeans, and for whatever reason sandals. Today of all days, I'm wearing sandals. Well, I see this lady leaving a pizza joint, and I call over to her. And ask for a ride into town, which is about another 5 or 6 miles from here.
She agrees, and I rejoice.
We get to town, she drops me off. And I still gotta walk another mile to work. So, I do that, pick up my paycheck. And then walk the 2 miles home. I'm burning now. I got contacts today, so I'm half blind from the light, and had bought shades. But the shades suck and now I have sunburn on my forehead and nose. And only my left arm. =_=
I am not a happy camper. *counts up the miles I walked today* I walked 8 or 9 miles today. Granted, thats not really a lot in the long run, I've walked more than that before. But this was 8 or 9 miles in the sun. Along a highway. And it was a walk I did not want to do, or expect to do.
So yeah.

I'm safe from the zombie's in these places. You would be too.
