As the sun hits its peak?

till there are no more words to speak?

with fire in your eyes?

Can i just hold you,
when my world is crashing down?

till I feel safe and sound.
Can you just kiss me,
with a passion so strong?
Can i just kiss back,
then smile all night long?

and watch the stars leave the night?
Can i just walk with you,
down the road of life?

My world was always sad,
until i saw your face.
You helped me find the peace and rest,
That was always in this place.
Before I ever met you,
well i hate to mention it now.
Because it was so dark and frightful,
I thought i was in hell.
But when you first stepped in,
you brought a light so bright,
that it illuminated the path,
to goodness, hope, and delight.
Now my world is perfect,
as perfect as can be.
I am with you, afterall,
And it is you, that made me see.
