Appearance: [ref] She is short in stature, measuring about 5 foot tall. She has a solemn expression on her face the majority of the time, including in her sleep. Her lips are very plump. She has long, blonde hair with a single braid which is by her ear. Her complexion is very fair, with a few freckles on her cheeks. Much of her right arm is scarred, and well as her right shoulder. She wears her blue, teardrop pendant every day. She wears these pants with this shirt. She normally wears these shoes as well.
History: Legend has it, that once every one thousand years an ice wielder is born.

Adelaide was born in a small village, outside the world that many know. There is no medicine, no electricity, no shopping malls, no modern life. Her mother died during the birth of her fair skinned, black haired and brown eyed babe. Her father disowned her, blaming the death of his love on the young babe. He left the village shortly after her birth. She was taken in by an old woman named Agnes.

She was bullied by the children in the village because she had no biological parents willing to raise her. She came home crying every night, with cuts and bruises on her body. Adelaide was too gentle to defend herself, and Agnes knew this.

One morning Agnes left a note be her bedside: "My dear Adelaide,
You will accomplish great things later in life.
No matter what, let no one discourage you and tell you otherwise.
You will make us all very proud of you one day."
On top of the letter was a necklace. The pendant was a blue sapphire, shaped into a tear drop.

On her sixteenth birthday, a devastating disease ravaged her village. Agnes, despite her own health, took care of her daughter. The virus caused horrible disfigurement on Adelaide's body. Eventually, Adelaide's health returned to her, but during her time of weakness, her eyes had lightened to an almost pure, ice blue color, and her hair had lightened to a pale blonde. She is said to have been influenced by the disease, others believe the legend and give her the title "Gifted One".

Agnes died of the disease, as did much of her village. The remainder of the living tattooed themselves to hide their disfigurements. Adelaide's face was one of the many that managed to stay relatively human, the scars only adding to her exotic beauty. She refused to hide the scars, and was exiled because of her defiance.

She has modernized much since the disease, and wonders if she has siblings outside of the village.
