You know that thing that they've been building for about ten years now. Which could possibly solve the mysteries of many many scientific questions. The one that's supposed to collide two opposing particles together and when activated could, theoretically, produce the Higgs boson, which could confirm the predictions and missing links in the Standard Model of physics and could explain how other elementary particles acquire properties such as mass. You know, the one that critics have been saying could possibly create miniature black holes and destroy the earth.
Yeah... I've been thinking a lot about that lately. I believe that it's going to be activated in about a month. I'm pretty sure we're safe, it's not like scientists mean to put the earth in harms way (atomic bomb). Scientists always have the best intents. Oh, and since this is just text I'm going to note that most of the last two sentences were sarcastic; just a note.
Well, to be serious for a sec (I wasn't serious before?), hopefully this will move physics forward for the first time since the creation of the Strings Theory (which connects most of the time I guess). If the best occurs, this would allow for progress in search for a unified theory of physics; which is always a good thing.
Meh, well... glad someone read through this fully. Hopefully I didn't blow your mind (most likely did not) and hopefully you weren't bored all the way through (which you probably were).
Thanks for reading. See you Space Cowboy.
Note: I am in no way an expert in physics (just a fan, go physics!). If I have insulted anyone, please get over it. If I have posted any incorrect information, please feel free to correct me.
