The Voodoo of Hell’s Half-Acre
In a dark stormy night around midnight there was a full moon with dark blue clouds surrounding it. I arrived at a droopy forest just along a river, hoping to find the Widow’s House. I was sent from a near by village, where small villagers hesitated on giving me the directions to the Window’s house. Walking along I accidentally walked through a small river that I couldn’t see in the dark. My black boots got wet and muggy. I ran into branches that hung low from the trees. Until I saw a red light coming from up in the mountains. I was sure enough that’s where the Widow’s house was.
On my journey I heard foot steps behind me. I turned around, and I saw nothing. But I couldn’t help feeling that someone was there. Out of the darkness night I saw a black shadow cross my path, I stopped and pulled out my sword. I was ready to attack. The shadow had stopped and leaned against a tree. I approached it.
He was leaning with his head tilt, and his right leg over the other, and hands in his pockets. He was wearing all black including his black pointy hat with a red feather. As I got closer I began to see his face. His face was half normal and the other half looked like its been melted. His eye was dropping out of his eye socket, his left side of his lip had run down to his chin. I was surprised that he can even talk.
He insinuated, “I know what you are looking for. And I am also after the same thing.”
“You must be the one they call Xygar. We finally meet at last.”
“So you‘ve been waiting for me?”
“I heard so much about you. Can‘t believe you got away. But I‘m going to stop you now and forever!”
“If you can catch me! I‘ll be at the Widow‘s house before you!”
He escapes into the darkness.
“Man, I need to get there soon.”
At the widow’s house.
“Let these dolls turn into zombies with this black magic I hold in my had, let them be free out in the wild!” said the Widow as she was casting a spell.
The Widow was known as a witch from the village has killed her husband with an evil spell that killed him over sleep. Now she lives all alone in a small cabin up in the mountains where she practices her spells over a hot steamy black pot, that is placed in the middle of her room. She isn’t just a witch, she is also a secretly a prostitute. She keeps a red light to let others know what she is.. If they get the message.
Back to the forest.
If Xygar get to the Widow’s house before me, he will use her magic for evil. And we can’t let that happen of he’ll destroy all of man kind.
As I ran through the dark forest, I saw the Widow’s house get closer and closer. Now I know I was getting there before Xygar. But once again I heard noises coming from behind me. Once I turned around the black shadow had come upon me. Next thing I saw was Xygar on top of me holding a sword upon my neck. Slowly I tried to take out my sword.
He said, “I am not liking you much, if you are going to continue getting in my way I shall finish you now.”
He was pulling back his arm with his sword and when he did that I speedily grabbed his neck and dropped him on the ground hoping he would give up. He did not. Somehow he had found a way to get up before I had done anything. There we were face to face waiting till one of us made a move. We stayed still for a couple of seconds till he had decided to jump up to a tree, and then I couldn’t see him anymore. I looked around for any sign of him in the surrounding trees. I could still hear him jumping from tree to tree and used this against him. I hear it behind me and jumps from the tree and tries to attack me. I was waiting for this and I used an upper cut to try to get him before he gets me. I got him in his eye but he got me someway and cut me in the leg. He tries to go back on the tree but missed because the blood from the cut I give him in the eye blinded him. I knew this was my chance to strike. So I jumped in the air and landed right on him I got out my sword and stabbed him right on the neck. I started to twist the sword around and chopped off his head. For some reason the blood came out black instead of red. At last I took victory.
I have reached the Widow’s house. Hiding behind the bush I can take a look in her cabin. She was standing by her black pot, but around her were some kind of zombies that look like dolls but somehow like humans. I was terrified. From my point of view it looks like she is controlling them with some sort of doll, maybe a voodoo doll. A few minutes the zombies where walking out the door headed towards the Village. They where marching in two rows down the hill. Looking all serious I could tell this was going to be bad news. I snuck up closer to the creepy cabin. And looked through the open window trying to find the right moment to sneak in. My plan was to destroy the voodoo doll which would hopefully destroy the zombies. But I have a limited time before the zombies get to the village. As for the Widow she is going to have to burn somehow. Knowing her death will be good for the Villagers.
When the Widow walked into the other room I quietly snuck through the window. Without a sound I tip toed to the pot where the doll was hanging over with a green string. As I almost got it untied I heard footsteps coming back. I quickly walked to the nearest closet and hid there, I was constantly watching her every move. Under the pot was fired and next me was a cloth hanging down. That gave me a brilliant idea. As soon as the Widow walked out again, I quietly grabbed the cloth put it right under the pot but also connecting it to the curtains on the window behind the pot. I ran quietly out the window was the house began to fill up with black smoke. From behind the tree I saw the Window run around like crazy. Right there before my very eyes the cabin had collapsed on the Widow. And from the distance I saw the zombies disapear one by one. Right there and then I know I have finished my quest, and soon to begin a new one.
