I was reading a friends journal, and she had written something that I could relate to. I am often told that I am the eternal optimist, almost to a fault, and well...her entry makes alot of sense as to where Im coming from.

SEEING THROUGH ROSE COLORED GLASSES
Rose is the color associated with love, specifically Gods Love, unconditional love.
If we can put on rose colored glasses to see the world through, it doesn't mean we are ignorant about what is going on in it, but rather, how we are seeing the world with our own perspectives. With rose glasses, with God's love in our hearts for everyone, we see beyond the ego, beyond the individual turmoil of the surface of life, to the soul level, that place in humankind where spirit is made of love, and each has it somewhere, even if hidden behind the mask of ego.
With those glasses you can see the potential, you can see the goodness, you can view things with compassion and nonjudgment. They can help you deal with problems and strife by giving you a clearer view on how to deal with them.
Treasure your rose colored glasses. Those who have them keep them and use them … those who don’t yet have a pair would want them if they had them. Sometimes, by sharing ourselves with people with our glasses on, they can see through our pair, and with that sharing, acquire a pair for themselves. Keep up the hope, keep the love going, shine your light with no fear, be the unique and special person that you are …. And who knows?
MAY THE EYES OF YOUR HEART BE OPEN TO THE LOVE THAT YOU ARE.
