However, I also got a demonstration of how tektek's layering differs from Gaia's. In other words, I realized my dream avatar was impossible. To be frank, I think Gaia's layering doesn't make any sense here:
1] The short black gloves won't layer with the long blue ones. What's up with that? Medical gloves and the short spirited gloves layer just fine, so of course I thought all short gloves on Gaia will layer over the long ones. Tsk, tsk.
2] The pearl bracelet won't layer with the purse. WTF? That must be one of the most illogical things about Gaia's avatar system. Basically, I guess this means the bracelet goes on the same layer as handheld items go. That doesn't make any sense.
I'm happy with my avatar at the moment, except I think the hands are a bit bare and that there should be more blue near the upper half. *sigh*
Lessons learned:
[x] Don't expect Gaia's layering to make sense.
