It was nice of the Imperials to welcome us off the docks. An entire regiment, I can't say I wasn't flattered. Joxamas was so touched, he said hello with a hearty energy blast. Its a good thing our ships aura shield works, none of their incoming fire made it through, a good trial test I'd say.
Some of the unfortunate souls even reached the deck. They barely counted as sword practice, Mikel weaved back and forth his energy sword glowing. A skilled commander actually made it to me, we fought back and forth along the deck. He made elegant play with his saber, but war is not always for the artistic. Savage blows from my furious blade worm him down, and his glittering sword fell from limp fingers. A quick scowl and a flourish of his crimson cloak signaled his hasty departure. Stubborn fellow, I suspect that is not the last I'll see of him.
An imperial vessel had began to make out against us, but our Cobra Kai proved her speed is no illusion. I have to say, if I ever meet the gunner of that imperial ship, I owe him a drink. No shot even grazed our shield, however I watched one sail into the side of the tavern we had just vacated. Some people have all the luck I guess, Jox thinks we steal ours from others. If thats the case, I'm grateful for the loan. In any case open water greets us and this wind seems promising. If today is any oracle, I shall be writing in this record again.
