At first i was only aware of the creaking.Back.Forth.Back.Forth. The sound willed me to open my eyes and i looked around. i was lying in a warm bed covered in blankets. there was a boy in a rocking chair looking at me. Who is he? Ah i remember now. My brother Noda, the only living relative i have. Then i remembered why. The memories crashed into me. the reason why all my family members and my friends were dead. the great war... just thinking about the day when she had sen her best friend murdered by mercenaries 2 years ago made her break down in tears. 10 years ago...a war had occurred and it drove mankind to the brink of extinction. I am Akarsha. And this is my story...
