So, I just got back from Word of Life island today~! 8D 'Twas fun. I, personally, didn't think it was the best week out of my entire life like a lot of other people [it wasn't as good as last year], but I still had fun.
I learned that God's love is eternal. That once I accept Jesus into my own heart, God places me in his hand and nothing can ever take me out of it. I learned not to doubt God's Word. I need to have confidence in my salvation.
I bawled for an hour after the campfire and that was what helped me through. Lately, I've been having doubts about my faith, questioning everything. It ate away at me for months. When I came to WOL, I had not expected for it to impact me so much. I was terrified.
But my counselors [Krista and Jess] helped me through it because they're awesome like that.
