Oh boy, the times have taken their toll on me. My friends are all acting as if the only thing functioning in their heads is the hormones. I'll never understand why prom is such a time of stupidity. gonk
Of course, I'm not going. I almost went, but the boy who would have been my date couldn't afford to go. burning_eyes It annoys me that I might have had a nice evening with him. mad
Of course, I decided that my dearest friend and I, along with this boy, would go out on our own that night. idea
That little idea has given me no end of trouble. rolleyes My father is still arguing, the night before. Then, the boy had to work and bail out. He was the only one of us with a license. So now my mother has to drive us. wahmbulance
And now, we are scrabbling together the plans for the night, picking out a movie and a place to eat. cheese_whine It's so ridiculously frustrating, and I'd be glad if I could strangle his boss for making him work. stressed
I'm struggling here, trying to make everything come together. Now, I'm off to make final plans. I believe my cell phone is going off, which will be Amber with something else I need to ask my mother. scream
