> How you earned this place: Normally, we wouldn't have pitted such a wonderful avatar (because, well, usually the winners are pretty clear cut!)against another wonderful avatar in this competition, but both have lovely points, and a few downfalls. Your avatar has a lovely colour combination of red tones, and golden tones, and that is respectable in the avatar's entire essence. we really enjoy how you used the Inari's beads without really, using the Inari's beads. You seemed to go against what the point was, and we, being who we are, do like a challenger to the rules. ;3
While, P. Masterpieces swears that she's seen this look somewhere before, she agrees with Jactimetrics that this dark, but yet light avatar brings a fresh mood to this contest. Good job, and congratulations!
One of our biggest problems with the avatar is the hair, which might have been better off if it were black, or maybe even red? Who knows, you still won so they must have not been too big of a deal, huh? ;3

> How you earned this place: Normally, we wouldn't have pitted such a wonderful avatar (because, well, usually the winners are pretty clear cut!) against another wonderful avatar in this competition, but both have lovely points, and a few downfalls. Almost a 9. almost a 9! Jactimetrics and P. Masterpieces argued over this entry for a good 3 minutes. While the avatar is consistant with its black and white theme, and while it did give the same refreshing challenger type essence with the 'hidden' Inari's beads, the style of it was one that we feel like we've seen before, just from previous entries in previous competitions, and all over the site.
You are one of our best entrants, and that is true, but, because of the reasons previously stated, and the belt which we felt made the avatar look a bit too 'chunky' and like she had a wedgie with the suspenders, she's still a great competitor, and we're glad that you've stuck with us for so long through this competition's growth.

> How you earned this place: The angelic baker? How can we describe this entry? She's very light, yet serene, and the apron is used very nicely. Her overall appearance is very homey, even though it strikes one, or could strike one as 'meditative'. It's an interesting one, to say the least.
One of our bigger problems with this avatar were the shoes, which were too clunky for the avatar. But otherwise, we feel like you did a great job.

> How you earned this place: This was the first entry that we saw like this, and sadly, it wasn't the last. Which goes to show that good ideas are credited to those who come first. ;3
Your little panda woman was creative, and the bamboo forest made her look spectacular, keeping with the overall panda theme you developed.
Main problem? She looks green! We understand that this may have been a problem that could not be fixed, and we understand that it might have something to do with the forest item's offset. But, it just bothered us. We'd have rather have seen an avatar with no forest, and with the right skin tone, rather than a forest, and the wrong one for what you were going for.
Also, the ears we felt were distracting and too pointed for the overall look of the avatar.
Though, we also feel like you did a good job with the first totally panda themed avatar, and we say, congratulations!
