It's where I hide my art
Entry #3 New home, new world.
The door slammed with earth-shattering thunk, shaking the room lightly. Fafnir turned to see the specks of piles of gold had fallen over and splayed all over the floor. The diamonds, rubies, sapphires; they were the same. Fafnir winced slightly as he even saw one of the book shelves fall over. He turned to look at the woman named Lucenae. There were many questions he had to ask her but he bit his tongue and quickly shoved them out of thought before she could respond. She walked past him, swaying her tail from side-to-side in motion that suggested annoyance. "Is she always like this?" He sighed before following her after she was several paces ahead of him.

"You will clean up this room. Everything will be in order for when I return." She lifted her right hand up, her palm facing up towards the ceiling. She made a single 'snap' of her fingers and suddenly Fafnir stopped dead in his tracks. Without questioning or hesitation, he began to moving towards the pile of gold to sort it.

Continuing down another hallway separate to the one that Fafnir laid resting in, Lucenae had taken an path on the left rather than right. She sighed and slapped the cheeks of her face before shaking her head side to side. "Out of all the days he could have woken up. He chose today to be his first..." She smiled lightly to herself as her large black horns shrank to small miniature horns, similar to the size of a baby ram's. Her eyes went to a sharp black to the soft lavender color, the same that welcomed Fafnir into his new life. She yawned softly as she came to an small wooden door. She took hold of the knob and twisted the door open, revealing as a simple bedroom. A black bed that was the size of the average fat king of those humans. To the left there was her sink, where clear and clean mountain water trailed inside from when the Rains came to Earth. In front of it was a large diamond, that was embed inside of the wall, that was used as a mirror if she ever indulged herself in vanity. Lucenae strolled up to her bed, skimming her finger along the sheets until she reach one of the posts, lifting and pushing it out of the way to reveal a hidden passage that lay underneath her bed.

She opened the hatch, followed down the stairs, and walked along the dark and damp path until she came to a stop. She placed her hands flat on the wall, trying to feel for a crevice that would allow her hand to slip in between the cracks. Soon she found the crevice and the small button laid inside of the stone. The wall rumbled for a moment and then with a small crack, the wall tilted open. Whatever contraption that held the door in place seemed to have finally snapped. "Bah, stupid dwarven made bolts. They should have stuck to their lunar doors and simple locks rather than try to make something like this." She mumbled to herself as she leaned against the heavy stone, giving it an push until it slammed against the wall. Inside of the small dark room, there was a pedestal. A small pedestal that held a tiny chest on top.

She dusted her hands clear of dirt and stared at the chest for a moment, as if observing if anything would betray another's presence. She found none and proceeded to walk up to the chest. It was indeed small, only barely a foot in width and half that in length. It was black with streams of different hues of blue wrapped around it, as a blue flame was wrapped in darkness. In the center of the chest, in place of a normal lock, was an darken purple pearl that was encased in tiny bristles of sharp metal blades. She placed her thumb against the pearl and swiped her finger across it. Blood started to ooze out of her finger and yet she continued to move her finger side-to-side, smearing the pearl in her blood. Suddenly then the pearl gave a faint glow and there was a resounding 'click'. Lucenae licked her finger clean of blood and opened the chest, inside filled with possessions that would seem pointless to a common thief.

It was filled with papers, all folded up neatly and aligned in an organized manner. "Where is it..." She mumbled to herself as she nitpicked through all of her inventory. "Ah ha!" She exclaimed as she grabbed the solitary piece of jewelry inside of it. It was a simple gem-encrusted ring. It's design seemed to indicate that it would wrap and weave around your finger once worn. She held the ring to her eye, peering deep into the sapphire that laid. At first she seemed as if she was just searching for something, her face matching the one of worry. Then she saw it. An white ethereal like entity inside of the jewel, floating around as if lost. She chuckled as she held the ring close to her chest, and began to even laugh as she tightened her grip around the ring. When she finally settled herself, she slid the ring onto her left ring finger. "Well first step of many." She mumbled to herself as she exited the tunnel and returned her bed to place, hiding the trap door once again.

Returning to the main hall, Lucenae came to find all of her treasure had been placed exactly where it had been before. She nodded contently as she examined everything, checking off every piece of gold, gem, and metal was exactly where it needed to be. The only thing that was new and out of placed was a throne that had been placed in front of the massive amounts of gold. It laid on top of the rug that led to the end of the hall, on the opposite side. It was brown wooden throne with red velvet cushions on the arms and seat. It stood twice the size of her, being a bit taller in Fafnir in height when he stood on all fours. The seat itself was wide enough to where she could lay sideways comfortably. She nodded her head in approval to it, It'll need some work but I can appreciate it's presence for now." She thought to herself.

"Fafnir." She summoned. Within seconds, there was a clap of air and flutter of wings and suddenly then, Fafnir landed in front of her. She could see the dust and dirt that had fallen on top of him when he was moving everything around. She chuckled at the sight and patted his muzzle, not feeling up to messing with him as to per her norm. "I commend you on a job well done. You can leave now." She said, pointing towards the door that lead outside.

Fafnir turned to look at her, puzzled sightly. "Her appearance changed and she's letting me go..." He hesitated slightly in moving, remaining still for the most part and silent. Lucenae turned to look at him, her demeanor souring. She crossed her arms, her eyes began to turn from her lavender to black. "Leave." She commanded.
Fafnir nodded and bowed his head, before running towards the door. Pulling the door open and revealing the sun to the hallway again. Fafnir turned to look back at the woman, questioning everything she did as none of it made sense. He sighed as he turned away, pulling the door closed with his tail as he flew away.

Lucenae smiled lightly, her eyes had already turned back to lavender, and gazed into her stone. Inside of it, she could see Fafnir flying through the air. Weaving through the mountains, she could see he was enjoying his ability to fly once again. "Do enjoy and treasure those wings, my dear pet. For where I can not fly, you will be my Wings..."
