well...some guy began to troll all the vocaloid threads on 2chan and nico nico douga and he said he couldnt get hatsune miku to work right. then another dude said he would not get mad at the guy for trolling the threads if his trolling was turned into a cute girl
so neru was born. she represents the lazy vocaloid users who give up easily or who get mad because they think using a vocaloid (miku especially) was hard

Alright (this might be a bit fuzzy) Akit Neru was made when one person kept thumbing down all miku's videos and downing Vocaloid and spamming the videos.The people said that they wouldnt mind if the 'troll' was a cute girl so Smith Hioka made up Akita Neru's style and clothing and what not. The Namek Akita-means get bored and Neru-means go to sleep.
Something like that well she got popluar and Crypton approved of her along with Yowane Haku,Hachune Miku,and Tako Luka
