Mady and Asher were best friends. They knew each other since they were little kids and were always with each other. They were both fourteen and liked the same things. Asher was 5.5, had tan skin, brown eyes, light brown hair, and was skinny. After they went to the mall, they decided to go back to Mady’s house. They went in and Mady said, “I’m gunna go change into something more comfortable.” “Okay that’s cool.” Asher said as he went and sat down on the couch to watch tv. When Mady returned and sat by him, she was wearing short blue gym shorts and a black tank top. After a while, Asher decided to get something to eat when he remembered the gum in his pocket. He pulled it out and read the wrapping around it. It said, “Wonka’s Three Course Meal Gum”. When Asher read this, he said, “No way.” “What is it?” Mady asked. “It’s a three course meal in gum!” Asher replied. “No way.” Mady said. “Ya seriously, take a look.” He handed the gum to Mady. She read it and said, “I’ve got to try this,” unwrapped it, and popped it into her mouth before Asher could say anything.

She started to chew almost immediately. Asher asked, “So what’s it taste like?” “It just tastes like cardboard, Asher this is a rip-off.” Then he said, “Ugh, I knew it was too good to be true, I’m gunna go get a snack.” Asher stood up and went into the other room. After about 2 minutes of chewing, the taste hit Mady. It was tomato soup, the best she’d ever tasted. She yelled, “Asher, its tomato soup and it’s so good.” Asher could barely hear her so he yelled, “Hold up, I’ll be there in a second.” But Mady didn’t hear him because she was too into the taste of her gum.

The tomato soup started going away, and another flavor started coming in. “Oh my god Asher, it changed! It’s roast beef with baked potatoes now and there to die for.” The flavor showed no sign of stopping for a minute or two. Mady was standing up with excitement for the third course. Right when the taste started coming, Mady knew instantly what it was. “Oh my god, its blueberry pie! Asher, get in here.” “Hold up.” Asher said starting to get a little annoyed over a little piece of gum.

While Mady was chewing away at her gum, the tip of her nose started to feel warmer. The warmness spread across her face and down her neck. She barely noticed it and thought it was just the heater until it went under her shirt and started down her arm. She turned and looked in the mirror across from her and saw that her face was blue. She ran up to the mirror to get a closer look to see that her face was blue. She looked at her arm and saw that blue was traveling towards her hand. “Aaaaaaaaah!” Mady screamed. “Asher………...ASHER!” “WHAT!” he yelled right as he walked in. “What the, what’s happening to you?!” he screamed. She looked down and saw that she was blue from head to toe. Asher saw that her hair was also turning blue. “I don’t know,” she said in a very scared voice when all of a sudden they both heard a gurgling sound. “What was that?” Mady said. She looked down again and saw that her stomach was growing out. “What’s going on?!” she screamed when she finally realized what was happening, “Asher, this gum is turning me into a blueberry! “So how do you juice me?” Mady asked. “Um, I don’t think you wanna know.” Asher said as he blushed. “Ya of course I want to know. I don’t want to be a blueberry forever.” she said as she continued to swell, “Hurry, I don’t know how much more of this I can take.” But right after she said that, the swelling stopped.
