When Asher read this aloud, Mady said in a pleading tone, “You have to call them, I’m scared Asher.” “Ok,” Asher said as he pulled out his cell phone and dialed the number. He sat there waiting for them to answer until a man picked up and said, “Hello, Blueberry Hotline, how may I help you?” “Ya, my friend tried some of your gum and now she’s a giant blueberry, what do we do?” Asher said. “Did you read that you have to juice her?” the voice said. “Ya but how do I do that?” “Ok first you have to take the gum out of her mouth so that she doesn’t swell anymore and th-” Asher had cut him off as he said, “Wait, what if she accidently swallowed it?”

“ut it on speaker phone!” Mady screamed. Asher clicked the button and the voice said, “Oh then now we have a problem. See the gum, unlike other gums, can easily disintegrate in the stomach. So once it hit her stomach, all the juices started flowing into her body. She will stay the same size but there is no way of getting her smaller.” “What?! But if we juice her, won’t it just get the juice out?” Asher said shocked. Mady was sat there completely helpless and silent the whole time. The voice replied, “Sorry but no, because there is a great amount of juice in that gum and a lot of extra juice in her body. Once a little bit of juice is taken out of her body, the extra juice will just fill its place. Eventually, the juice will dissolve her bones and muscles, adding extra juice to her body. I’m sorry but she will always be in this state. But on the bright side, she will never have to eat or drink again, because the juice is a nutrient to the body.”

“WHAT?! You’re telling me that my best friend will always be a blueberry. Isn’t there anything you can do?!” Asher screamed in a fit of rage. Then the voice said, “Sir, calm down, I’m sorry for what happened but there’s nothing we can do.” and the man hung up. Mady suddenly burst into tears and did the most she could do to move. Asher stood in the middle of the room staring at her. She flapped her hands and feet and cried. “I’m really sorry for what happened. There’s got to be something we can do.” Asher said trying to comfort her. “No, you heard the man; I’ll be like this forever, an ugly fat blueberry.” She said as she continued to cry. Asher walked up to her and wiped her tears off of her swollen face. He suddenly smelt blueberry and noticed that she was crying blueberry juice.

“I’ll stay with you, whenever you need me.” Asher said trying to comfort her, “But first let’s call your parents.” “No, I don’t want them to know yet, just get me by the mirror.” Asher rolled her over towards the mirror and positioned her upright. She sat there silent for a long time looking at her new body. “How could this have happened?” Asher thought to himself, “She used to be so cute but now, I don’t know.” Mady was entirely blue and a perfect sphere. The only human things about her now were her head, hands, feet, and gigantic boobs. From now on, she was just a giant helpless blueberry
