Wow! Did not see this coming! It's incredible how much of a difference passion makes. I'm hopeful for Gaia's future for the first time in years--and very glad you've come back biggrin

That surely is wonderful news. Does swarf know about this already? I mean, it's basically his baby, without him it would not exist - and he surely knows the scripts and bugs best. If not, that would be kind of sad. but cannot helped.

I was pretty shocked to find zomg having closed down after I returned to Gaia. It was the only fun application on the whole forum which allowed people to enjoy teamwork and fun times with chatting in such an adventurous and relaxing way.

Of course, if it is to be opened again, I hope the issues that many users used to have back then, with flash and lag (especially in the big instances) and the freezing ring and skill bars will be managed to get solved. I am curious as to how you might change the game and setup in the end. That game helped many people to connect easily, and it surely is a good idea to implement it again, even after over 15 years.

I hope you will be able to fix all the vulnerabilities and bugs when you do get zomg back up.

I just hope that zomg isn't your top focus right now, since it would be nice if other parts of the site were fixed first. especially if you will be able to make gold again in zomg - I know that you all were trying to figure out a fair resolution to stop bots in LK and hopefully you all are trying to come up with something to stop cheaters in runway.

Anyways, keep up the good work!

omg I cannot say how many times I have heard from friends and random players here on gaia about the return of zomg .
For me this would definitely make me happy to have something more then just Lake kindred to play I must be honest about it tho it takes too long to earn the gold when the markets have been so terribly inflated.
If Zomg were to actually make a return you would for sure see a lot of people return to gaia and you might also bring in a lot more earnings for the company itself .

I just have one question for the rebirth of ZOMG that you guys might not even have an answer to quite yet.
When it comes to the gameplay, will you guys be changing how we level up our rings since charge orbs drop crazy often in Lake Kindred?
I'd assume so but I thought I'd just ask.
Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere else.

If zOMG! can make a comeback, I'll gladly log in my frequently. zOMG! was my bread and butter; my jam of my highschool life. I miss it so dearly and I had grinded hours with all my rings to level them. If it comes back, my life won't feel so wasted.

Please use the old rings we had! Everyone wants to use the stuff they worked so hard for. if you want recommendations you could add level caps up to level 200

Player level - Ring level
lvl 0 - 10 - 0.0 - 1.0
lvl 11-20 - 1.1 - 2.0
lvl 21-30 - 2.1 - 3.0

so on and so forth.

Oh my lord this is a dream come true! heart I'm so happy this is going to happen, I can finally hang out with people again! Social awkwardness is about to be escorted out the building! XD
