Good News For zOMG fans Last two days had been fun and challenging digging through the zOMG server. It would not have been fun if I haven't made any progress, but by the end of the night it seems that there is a good chance, with enough time and patience, we could bring the servers back to life. Still got a lot of kinks to sort out, and I still got to learn the many scripts needed to make the multiple servers work together, then I'll need to make sure that the new server is actually working bug free. Not sure how many days that will take, but I'll keep everyone updated as I get closer.

EDIT: Oh, just realized something. If and when you do get the game fully back up and running, I suppose you're probably going to re-soulbind the Rings at some point? How much warning are we going to get before that happens? All of my CL-10 Rings are in a mule account's Storage to stave off inventory clutter.

Oh my gosh, thank you!

I don't believe the admins were truly working to their potential to fix that security loophole. Trust and believe that all zOMG fans are ecstatic to hear that you're picking the project back up after everyone simply gave up. I know that zOMG is where a lot of Gaia Vets resided and frankly, after it left I had no desire to log in often (not to mention it was my source of GG neutral )

This makes me really happy. I came back after my hiatus and discovered they took it away, so I sold my rings for the 1g or whatever since there was no point in keeping them. It sucks that I will have to work from the bottom again but I am very excited.

Nice to hear that we may get zOMG back. However, I'm more concern about the "security risk." Dunno if it's true or not, but if it's true, will that be fixed too?
