Good News For zOMG fans Last two days had been fun and challenging digging through the zOMG server. It would not have been fun if I haven't made any progress, but by the end of the night it seems that there is a good chance, with enough time and patience, we could bring the servers back to life. Still got a lot of kinks to sort out, and I still got to learn the many scripts needed to make the multiple servers work together, then I'll need to make sure that the new server is actually working bug free. Not sure how many days that will take, but I'll keep everyone updated as I get closer.

I have a question; ever since the game was taken down, I haven't been able to find any of my zOMG equipment in my inventory, such as rings, for example. If the servers come back up, would we all have to start from scratch? Would we be able to resume at the levels we were when the game crashed, or would we have to start from the beginning? ;; I understand if returning us to our former progress would be too much to ask, but if this can be done, I would appreciate it greatly.

Judge me all you like, folks. The staff of Gaia Interactive is notorious for having the reputation of letting us down and lying to us in the past (and present?). I am excited about this though but I'm not really convinced zOMG will come back. Till then my expectations remain low. ninja
