With mother's day at its end, it's time to move on to the rest of the month. Summer is around the bend and things are starting to get hotter. I want to take a moment to rewind the clock. The date is May 6 and it was the day of the sneak preview of the next duel monsters set known as Force of the Breaker. There was quite a turnout to the event, and although the even is already gone, the set will hit stores Friday. I plan on getting my box of cards from this lovely set and hopefully there will be a secret rare to this series as there were in Strike of Neos. While I'm on the subject of the preview of the new set, I will show and tell you about some of the cards you'll see.



This is one of the locals of the new series called the Rainbow Ruins (nice place, isn't it?), an ancient city that is home to the monsters known as the "Crystal Beasts". The Crystal beasts have amazing powers that turn them into spells when thay are destroyed in battle. So where are some of them, you ask? Right here:

Introducing first, Ruby Carbuncle. I like this little critter because it looks like a pokémon I like to train.
This is Emerald Tortoise. He looks a bit old, but it has good defense 3nodding
For those fellow fans of felines, I give you the rare Topaz Tiger.
For those of you looking for a more feminine feline, here is Amethyst Cat heart
Birdwatchers might find a liking to this bird of prey, the Cobalt Eagle.
And finally, a trip back in time with Amber Mammoth.

This isn't all of the Crystal Beasts there are, but it gives you an idea on what to look for. This new set contains sixty cards, and possibly a Secret Rare in the form of a Crystal Beast. But you won't find out about that until you start opening up packs for yourself. Until then, enjoy the beautiful eye candy....
