I abso-freaking-lutley love this series! It's about two young boys who tragically lose their mother. The younger of the two boys bodies and the olders arm and leg were lost (not sure if their left or right or what) trying to bring her back using Alchemy. They fail and Ed the older of the two sets out to become a State Alchemist. They learn of a way to bring their mother back called the Philosophers Stone. So once Ed becomes a State Alchemist they use their sources to find the stone. Well anyway, I wanna kill the people who invented it, but I'm not gonna ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet! So anyway, along the way there are things called Homunculus preventing them in anyway they can. (A Homunculi(singular term for Homunculus) is basically a doll, or in Alchemy's case, a living doll... no soul and definatly not human, it is created by trying to ressurect a human being with Alchemy and when you fail you create a Homunculus.)So lot's of plot-twists later, things are revealed and your all like "What?" Oh, and since Ed and Al failed to bring back there mother she comes back as a Homunculi... and if you watch the series you know who it is right off the bat. ninja
