Sooo, not much have happened lately.
We went horsebackriding during wednesdays gym class.
It was wonderfully fun and amusing.
It was suprisingly few of us that knew how to ride to begin with, none of the guys knew how.
So it started out with two groups, one who knew how to ride and one who didn't.
We who knew how started and had a lot of fun, more or less on our own, the teacher didn't say much.
The horse I got, Rockie, was very sensitive in the mouth so I couldn't hold the reins very tight, but at the same time she was quite hard to get started. It was a weird mix and not really one I appreciated very much.
After that we in the first group led the horses for the other group. They started with getting to know the horses and slowly built their way up to trotting.
It seemed quite bumpy for them... xp
I led Rockie and my class mate, Joakim, was learning to ride on her.
I asked him if he'd ever gone horseback riding before and he answered that he had once when he was really small at an amusement park, but the one holding the horse had dropped the reins and the horse had run off.
With Joakim still on it's back!
I felt so sorry for him! xd
After hearing that I made sure to hold on the the headrope fastened at Rockie's bridle.
One of the guys who didn't know how to ride is quite tall. Strangly enough the ones owning the stable put him on a really small horse. It looked absolutly ridiculous with his long legs reaching halfway to the ground when he sat on the horse! rofl
Soo, what more have happened?
We have a silver crafting class on mondays... It's really fun and I think I might get done with my pendant next monday.
We have watched a play (class 9-12 I think), Shakespeare's "A midsummernight's dream". The one's acting (not much older that myself and one came from our school) did it wonderfully and the funny scenes were so funny I thought I and my friend were going to fall off our chairs due to laughing so hard.
One of my class mates have been ill for quite some time now (about 3 weeks) so we (more or less forced by our teacher) went to see how he was doing. He didn't look very well and it became a very long embarressing silence while we were trying to find out what to say...
After that our teacher (lovely and far to kind for her own good) bought us ice cream.
...
Have you ever looked into a mirror and felt that it's not you gazing back from the mirror?
It's quite a weird feeling.
I was playing around with the enormous amounts of make-up I've aquired over the years and almost never use (I'm so glad my friends I have now never give me make-up as presents like my old friends did) and I tend to focus on a small part at a time, not looking at all of it before I'm done.
I have to admit it looked quite good when I was done, but what freaked me out was that I wasn't sure it was me in the mirror.
I mean, I know it was me, but it sure didn't look like it.
And at the first glance in the mirror I could have sworn I saw mom when she was younger. Now, that was really freakish...
I have a Japanese test next monday... *groans*
I don't wanna! I'll probably do quite well but still! I always get awfully nervous before tests...
I think that was all the interesting stuff. That I can remember anyway...
