Gone with the wind, so I may one day inherit it.

Hopefully I'll be back with a bang--and a thanks--like always.

Back to living by the cards, and that's about all that counts to me now.

Let's waste time living in fantasy worlds and the most amiable fictions; novels are no drab when you read in the cool shade.

I've spent the last few days fighting in the shades, attempting to keep the bugs away--and failing.

But it's okay; I've come to terms with myself, and even when the wind blows, with the malice found only here, I am fine--no longer petrified.

Yet I'm going to keep on dreaming, or trying, to prevent myself from falling into the hopeless realm of reality. It's a kingdom I wish to escape, and when I see the thunder at night, while the water pours down in drizzles faster and faster, I just want to run outside and dance, dance the sorrow out of me, dance the madness out of me, and rejuvenate myself just a bit with the gift from the clouds above.

But the rain's gone now.

And every time the sky grows dark the heat doesn't disappear, it doesn't leave, and I'm left restless on my bed, twisting and turning, unable to sleep and yet not awake. I sweat am miserable.

Despite all this I cannot break free...

The misery is not yet enough to instigate change. I brood and think, brood and think, till I conclude things that I had already pondered through once before.

I want to life and laugh, but I can't, because when you are asleep, you are dead all but in the mind...
