This journal is adorable; Not that anyone still reads it I've glanced over all my older pieces, and I find it really childish writing. The apathy is there--blunt and lucid--but more importantly, an unnecessary amount of self pity seems to be present in every post. It's as if I've lived my life in a little cardboard box, and everybody's against me in life. I might as well be dirt poor, be bald, have only one arm, and possess only one functional eye. And be an orphan. But I'm not. I'm none of those things above. Which is why I feel that as a writer, I've really been quite a failure in the past.

	Then try to improve, sunshine. Not everybody gets it on the first try. Or the second. Or the third. You fall, get back up. Don't quit. You're fine.

	You'll improve, it takes time. Writers need some constructive criticism to know what works well for them and what doesn't. Just find some close people who have the time to read your work and who can still remove themselves from the equation to tell you what really needs to be done. Do this, and your writing will improve, for sure.

	Your journal isn't childish; it's amazing. What you write for me isn't about childish things, it's all about the little things that you see and choose to write. You are the best critic of your work so if you do think that you are doing bad, give time to improve. Compared with my journal, your journal is AWESOME.
