The Paris Hilton Incident
In downtown New York City, a group of three college students protested the imprisonment of Paris Hilton for her drunk driving. The young female even dressed as the famous Socialite. They proclaimed that fourty-five days in prison was an outrageous judgement and should be shortened or completely repealed. However, others on the street who were interviewed believed that their cause was completely pointless.
Paris is being given the average punishment for driving while intoxicated on a suspended license. She shouldn't be treated any differently than the rest. In fact, she is being treated differently simply by being put into solitary comfinement instead of the general public confinement.
