Puzzle Piece
Verse 1: My friends have told me that I
Hung out too close to the edge
And others told me to be careful
Or else I could lose my/ head
But I never paid them any attention
I just stared and walked away
And I’ve been looking for a reason
Ever since that day

Chorus: I looked inside myself to find an answer
But the puzzle blew away/that’s where it went wrong
I found the pieces and I put them together, but
Being foolish all along/ The most important piece was Gone….

Verse 2: It’s been a week and no one ever
Looked at me the same again
And most of the ones who shunned me
Were supposedly my/ friends
But still I never heeded any warnings
Instead I just stared and walked away
And I’ve been searching for a purpose

Of when I used to play those/ games

Since I always took life for granted

A song that I wrote about two years ago. I wrote this one while playing the guitar....which is how I write most of my songs now.....and I'm REALLY not good at the guitar!
