"Amazing.....It's been two years already."
"Two years since what, Adam?"
"Since.....Something happened."
It was two years since I ran away from the village. One year ago, I heard news of an accident that happened in a village, ending in the murder of a female. I knew it was Leana, It was most likely that Blade escaped through sheer force and cunning tactics. Now, I am a certified member of a secret Vampire Slaying community located in a city known as Daronia, always saving others from a brutal death. Normally, vampires weren't allowed to join, but since I was a graduate from the school of elementals (read chapter 1 part 1), I was made an exception. I wore this black cloak which blended in with the night, as was my favorite was of surprising unwary bloodsuckers. I was friendly with most of the Vampire slayers, except one. most of the people call him "He who hates the bloodsuckers". His real name was Taroia, a name which I hated ever since We got into a fight half a year ago. Luckily for me, I won against him and his friends.
"Hey, Adam."
"Huh?"
"I was wondering..."
"Yeah, go on..."
"Recently, Taroia has really good on catching vampires, but I have a feeling that for this one, he might not catch it. I want you to be a backup slayer, just incase he makes a mistake."
"Sure thing, Boss."
So I went out, hiding in the dark, not knowing that I would make a new friend. I saw Taroia walking up to a vampire in the middle of the night. Apparently, he took out his grandfather's black dagger and made her hold it (this one was a female). As always, it did it's trick and revealed that she was a vampire. I wanted to take out my sword, the hilt being a bat wing (it was the sign of a Vampire Slayer).
The Vampire was pretty quick, but i managed to catch up due to a cut on her shoulder which was caused by Taroia. Eventually, Taroia fell, but I was still on the tail. zHow I managed to keep up with her, I dont know, but eventually she gave in and fell down on a hill and fainted. I walked up to her, hand grasping sword, when I felt this unusual force emanating from her.
"She's no ordinary vampire...Damn, I was thristy too," I said as I let go of my sword, picked her up so my arms supported her neck and her legs, and began walking.
"Hmm. Maybe when she wakes up, I'll manage to see what her true abilities are," I thought out loud as I took her to my private room outside of the base.
"She truely feels like a possible future Vampire Slayer," I whispered to myself as We began to blend with the dark.
(To Be Continued. Told ya I would catch up to you, Ember!)
