The average person's left hand does 56% of the typing.
Which, if you think about it, is reasonable. If you look down on your keyboard right now, and place your fingers in the "correct" typing form, it makes a lot of sense. From the letters T, G, and B and left, its all letters, plus the tab key, caps locks key, and the numbers 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, which when you push shift is %, $, #, @, ! which are common symbols people use a lot.
Then on your right hand from Y, H, and N and right are eleven letters, then colons and semi-colons and periods and such, the enter key and delete key, and the numbers 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, which when you push shift is ^, &, *, (, ), which people barely use, except maybe the & and * key.
So it only makes sense that your left hand should do most of the typing.
Theend.
