my mom has a favourite dynasty, the tudors, and a favourite monarch, Elizabeth the 1st. so she absolutly had to see this nu movie&i came along for to see it also&this is what i have to say on the matter:
exclaim pretty costumes(tho not entirely hystorically accurate)
exclaim pretty ships(even when they are on fire burning_eyes )
exclaim it has a sex scene(which has become a prerequisite in today's hollywood redface )
exclaim it has a battle scene(which has always been a hollywood prerequisite)

wahmbulance of note is the fact that the compleate lack of errol flynn is a detriment to the film in it's entirety. wahmbulance
cheese_whine dramallama also of note is that they are far too heavy-handed in their depiction of the spanish king in shadows and Elizabeth the 1st in sunlight(also near the end certain attatxhment to her garment are far too much like wings cheese_whine dramallama
