Just Flowing Along...
I game. I read. I watch a little T.V.
terry pratchett's nu book:Making Money.read it!
i stayed up until it was more like time to wake up so i could read the newest diskworld novel in one go. slept from 7-noon...no sented dreamz this time lolz rofl (see previous entry)

this story is about the contunuing adventures of Moist von Lipwig-yes....that is his real, given name whut is on his birth certificate&all
Moist used to be a career swindler....until in the book Going Postal he was made Postmaster General. the job came with a hat, an office, a salery, stanly&groat and a cat very set in his ways.

in this nu book...it seems that the man in the golden suit(Moist) is getting rather bored with his rutine. and Lord Vetinari, the ruler of Ank-Morpork(a city that is a cross between London and New York.) has a new problem(a situation that he never suffers thru long, because he has people that he can deligate the suffering to.then either they will solve the problem, or it will solve them twisted )

anyway-the problem. it has to do with the city's bank...and as the carismatic con-man with the unnoticable face and garish suit has already done such a wonderous job of fixing the problem of the post office;when fiesty old Topsy Lavish(her maiden name-Turvey) tells Vetinari that she will die soon, and intends to will her 50% holdings to her dog...Vetinari has just the man.

and that man, Moist, is back in the game, wheeling, dealing, his moulth running on making promises that are supposedly interperatations of the Chairman barks
domokun domokun domokun

this book also contains some dire secorets...like what Cut Me Own Thoat Dibblers name really is. like how some things are just born in you&you can't get them out no matter how you try.
oh..& because Moist is in this, so is Adora Bell Dearheart.so there are also cigaretes&golems. and golems&cigaretes. neutral

this book is a contunuationan expantion of the already expancinve Diskworld series of novels, about a place where magic works logically, where story conventions are real-ad absurdium-with a little bit ...ok...a lotof satire, and almost everyone ends up happy, except those who don't, but that's because the unhappy people didn't have a million-to-one odds against them succeeding...and because of the Lady(a green-eyed goddess who has both the least and the most ammount of worshipers on the disk, and therefore makes the other gods nervous. especially when it's Her turn at the dice)makes sure that million-to-one chances alwayswork. wink
