Well, its been some time since I put up a journal. So its time to do so.
Today, I was fortunate enough that my lecturer had to be at the doctors, so it was later in the day, but I got to go to town.
At the local Game, I watched as my mum picked up the console I wanted for Christmas. A Ceramic White Playstation Portable. So cool. Now at christmas, I'll own an Onix DS lite, and a Ceramic White PSP.
The trip then went past shoe shops, and clothing stores. Mainly for my sister. But I did pick up a new pair of shoes, since my ones were falling appart.
At Gamestation, my mum picked up a Sephiroth figure, since I had no money at the time. Last one there too. While there I found Starfox Adventures, preowned for £8. I picked that up, and I look forward to spending Friday playing it once I've done any coursework. It'll make a nice break from MySims.
Anyway, still game related, tomorrow, I'll be heading in to town again, this time to pick up The Legend Of Zelda; The Phantom Hourglass. Like with The Wind Waker, I thought it'd be a horrible game. A game filled with dungeons which slowly depleat your health unless you use the Phantom Hourglass. But I was wrong it seems. Its a good game graphically, and its only the one dungeon that depleats health. So I'm getting it, it may be worth a play.
Now, I'm sure with how often I've talked about how great MySims is, and how fun the DS and Wii are, but fact still remains, I'm not a hardcore, 'death to other systems' Nintendo Fanboy. I've never been a fanboy of ANY system. As evidenced by the many games systems I own. Heck, my Sega Megadrive is STILL in perfect working order, as well as the NES, and all my old Game Boys. Even the Nintendo 64 works well. But fact remains, my gaming history hasnt been only Nintendo. I've owned Sega consoles, the Atari home system(since lost) the NES, all game boys except for the GBASP. Both versions of the DS, N64, Gamecube, Wii, PSX (original Playstation), PS2, and even XBox 360.
And this list will be increased further soon. Since today my sister obtained the PSone (the portable PSX, complete with its own screen), and at christmas I'll have my own PSP Slim and Light in white.
So yes. I know a bit about gaming. Just dont trust me past knowing on RPGs, adventures, puzzles and some action games. Shooters arent my thing, but I am into the Metroid Prime series, and will soon be getting into the Starfox games.
And there I will end the journal. So until next time when I'll probably talk about both Phantom Hourglass and Starfox Adventures, see ya!
