As I look up at the sky
I look for your star
The one that's brighter than them all
I know that star is you
Looking down at me from heaven
Guiding me through my youth
Helping me through tough times
Watching over me
I find your star
And ask for help
I cannot bare the weight on my shoulders
So I talk up to the sky as if you
Were right here beside me
After I'm done telling the sky
About how I am feeling
I feel as if you were really here
Sitting by my side
And listening to me
I feel better
And I know that even though
You're not by my side
You're up in heaven
Watching over me, Guiding me, Loving me
And I love you too
