Black Rose Life
She walks down the halls,
Ignoring the cruel cat calls.
She lets out a long lonely sigh.
Sometimes she wishes she could get high.
CRASH! Down on the floor she goes.
She got pushed by the people she calls anorexic hoes.
Their hateful taunts echo all around,
She lowers her head toward the ground.
She does not know what they want or seek,
Tears crawl down her cheek.
The laughter dies away throughout the school
Someone whispers: “This isn’t cool”
She stands up and out she cries:
“Surprise!”
With a flash of silver, in her hand, a twelve inch knife.
She looks up and once more says:
“I’m tired of this life”
“My father beats me, my mother is addicted to drugs and can’t see”
“You seemed off guard. Well, you aren’t the ones that are emotionally scared”
With those words, her heart was slashed and out the blood dashed.
Her knees grew weak and gave away.
She knew she won’t live another day,
Gripped in the hand of the right.
A picture of a black rose came into sight.
