Stuff that happens to me.
Well. Stuff that happens to me.
Worrying...
Today we got a call from the hospital saying that they found a cyst on Lynn's ovaries. The really disturbing part is that they knew for almost a month about this and just now told her over the phone.

She has a mandatory Gyno appointment now on the 15th and has spent the day between being scared and pissed.

Needless to say, if this turns out serious, I plan on making a collection of the sexual organs of the ******** who should have told her immediately after finding the cyst...

Or if I am calm enough, I will sue their asses off for endangering my kitten.

I hate feeling useless, because I can't do Anything that feels like it will help. Granted, I am not so thick that I don't realize that comforting her is helpful but the masculine aspect in me wants to go slay a dragon and bring back magical blood for a cure or... Something.

I had to watch her cry in fear because she didn't understand why they hadn't told her sooner or what would happen. So now we just wait... and hope.

For now there is nothing you can do. Hopefully there is something they can do. Only you can keep her comfortable, do that for her. Unfortunately there is a reason the dragons are all gone because others before you have slayed them for the blood. You have to wait and see I will keep her and you in my thoughts, and prayers.

Well The good news is Cysts on the ovaries is rather common in pregnant women. The part that got me all scared is that the woman who called me DIDN'T say something about "Just to check it out" or "We just need a closer look" SHe said "We need to make sure... To see if there is anythign that needs done."

I've become very parranoied about HOW doctors and nurse phrase stuff. I PANIC when a doctor praises my prompness in bringing something to their attention. I had Toxic shock syndrom when I was 14 and they told me "I'm really glad you came in so quickly." Why? because tss can be fatal. When my son got mrsa They told me they were really glad I didn't wait any longer. My son had an infected spot on his bum that went from about 3/4th of and inch across to 2 inches across in less than 4 hours. OF COURSE I"M GOING TO BRING HIM IN! I'm half way to a damn heart attack I'm so upset about it!

So what really scared me, what is really getting to me is that she didn't assure me that this was common and they just need to keep an eye on it. No she told me they Needed to look at it and this was the earliest they could get me in.

But I'm over the major shock and fear, I'm just pissed at the doctors and irritated with the pain in my belly that now has a cause and the cause is kinda upsetting. Nothing like finaly knowing why it is that you hurt when you hurt for no reason before so you just ignored it... Now I notice every little pang. >.> Thanks doc.
