O.K. Jericho(Joseph Wilson) is one of my favorite Teen Titans (granted, most of the Titans are in their 20's now, but who cares, it's comic books!)

now, i haven't actually gotten to read the Wildabeast Sociaty story arc, so i don't know everything, but apparently Jer was overwhelmed by the spirits of Azaroth and went crazy, so he tried to kill the Titans...call it a family curse (both of the Titans and of the Wilson line).

anyway, he died...or his body did, since his power was to slip his soul out of his own body and into anouthers'. to quote Subcamander Starscreem of the Decepticon Battlefleet "My body died, but my Spark lived on..."

Raven, whom he might've had a thing for, recently resurected Jericho, and his mind habeen healed (but poor guy, he's stuck in a failed clone of Superboy so the frack doesn't go on a killing spree...i wanna hug him!)

anyway, when he fist appeared, he wore a different costume, one a lot less like his fathers, it looked like this:

you can't see it too well, but when he wore this costume he had muttonchops. they set him apart from others, and i think they looked good on him!

but in his newly 'resurected state...he has lost the muttonchops! oh noes, where could they have gone?

well, i also like the Legion of Superheros (and anything Crisis) so i've been reading the Action Comics storyline where Superman goes to the 30th Century to hang out with his old after-school buddies...and while rereading an issue resently i noticed someing...i noticed the muttonchops too had been reborn!

the guy in the middle calls himself Earth Man now, but when he was younger he was called Nemisis Kid, and was a villainous arc-nemisis of Legionaire Karate Kid (despite the eppisode of the tv show) anyway...look very closely at Earth Man (whose power is negation and duplication of Super Powers) and you'll find...blond muttonchops! Earth Man has not only twisted the SuperMan mythos to suite his purpose, has not only turned the name Justice League into a bad-guy group, BUT HE HAS STOLEN JOEY'S MUTTONCHOPS!!! Tis is an affront, itr SHOULD NOT be allowed!
...but this storyline really make you think...you see, Earth Man has gathered around him a group of Legion Regects such as
idea Spider Girl (who couldn't control the grip of her prehensile hair when she tried out and spent some time in the Legion of Supervillains after that)
idea Golden Boy (his is a midas touch, as a villain who had infiltrated the Legion told him he couldn't join because gold's rarity is what makes it a worthwhile comodity)
idea Storm Boy (he does have whether manipulation, but it isn't natural...and he has ondergone over 70 medichal procedures-without anesthetic-in order to better himself, make himself worthy. the poor guy must have been crushed when he was rejected)
idea Eyeful Ethel (she can grow extra eyes...great if you need to see out of the back of your head, or if you wanna watch someone without them knowing...but really not a useful power. too situational)

The idea that the Legion has created their own worst enimies is a powerful (and logical) one. but the muttonchops...couldn't they have been left out of this? huh, plz?
