The year is 1095 A.D.

It all started on a cold night in europe... after he was caught stealing bread,
Cain was brought before the local Priest to confess about his crimes...

But there was no confession... For even in his mortal life, Cain was extremely cunning and malevolent, yet foolish to rely on little hope... An attribute he quickly learned to destroy...

Just when the guardsmen were about to beat him up, the Priest told Cain of... A third choice... The choice to join the First Holy Crusade, for the Pope was presenting amnesty for all criminals who would join their crusade to the Holy Land of Jerusalem...

The joice wasn't very hard for Cain... even though he was only 16 years old, he knew how to fight, and survive on the battlefield...

But that goal would never be achieved...

For another destiny was plotted out for the young Cain... A destiny where he would need all of his cunning and skill to survive...
His destiny would lead him to the most feared hunters of the night...

When the troops were shipped out from Rome, Cain saw a coffin being transported on the ship...
he knew something was odd, and was determined to investigate it later on the ship...

That was one of the few mistakes young Cain made in his life... he was to curious... and his curiousity was to be his downfall, as well as the start of his Rise to Power...

For when he started looking for the chest, he found it alright... but it was opened, and empty...

Suddenly a pale hand knocks him to the ground, ripping his throat wide open...
He realized he had been struck, and that his mistake of not checking the cargo hold was his demise...

It was then that a female voice spoke to him...
she said: ''I shall now give you a choice, one i have never had myself...
I can turn you into a creature of the night, or i can let you bathe in your own blood untill you die... choose fast little one...''

With one of his last breathes he puts his thumb up, immediately after that the female Vampire crashes over his neck and starts to suck out even more blood then he had already lost.

Then she ripped open her wrist and placed it before the near dead face of Cain.
He was drinking her blood as if his life depended on it, he just couldn't stop drinking.

The Vampire had to pull her arm away with excessive force...

Then she introduced herself... she said: ''I am Selena, and i have Chosen you...
i have been tracking you down for quite some time now, watching how you stole, and killed rats to survive... But those were all little jobs my dear.... now we must see wether you are up to the task of killing a human...

As soon as the ships came to land, the 2 vampires abandoned the army to start the training of the young hunter...

10 years... That's how long it took for Cain to complete a training of thousands of years of the vampires finest arts...

But it wasn't enough for Cain... he wanted more... more power... And Selena could see it in his eyes... she saw the murderous intent, and the instinct to fight... to grow stronger...

And she feared it... She feared what Cain could become..., Eventually WOULD become...
And so she decided to make an end to Cains life...
It was in here oppinion her right to take a life that she had given...

But Cain would not just roll over and die, as she would soon notice, for she got killed in her attempt to strike down Cain... With her dying breath she said she regreted that the last thing she did in her life was to create a monster without equal in this world or another...

Ever since then Cain lived a quiet life... for if he would ever be seen by the Vampiric Brotherhood he would be trialed for the worst crime a vampire could commit: killing the one that gave you life...

But again due to a twist of faith, The vampiric race found Cain, but did not want to kill him... No, they wanted Cain to be their leader... For he was trained by the legendary soldier of the Vampires: Selena, And even more, he was Able to kill her...

so Cain lived as the Prince of all Vampires and lived long...
In this age, he is one of the oldest vampires still alive...
But there is not much left from what was once the greatest Brotherhood of the night...
