Requiem In Red
Carnations on Steroids
I have to say it's been a pretty decent week. I have yet to get the creative juices flowing, but I have been getting more reviews on my FictionPress account, to which I am very greatful (Hint hint, nudge nudge). One of the first people to read my work has returned, which makes me happy because he's been gone for over two years or so. Other than that, it's been uneventful.
I did see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with Jade and Michelle. I have to say, I laughed, I cried, I ran into the Glass Elevator. It was nothing like the original movie, but I enjoyed it very much.
Oh, you may be wondering as to the title of this entry. I have my weapons class once/twice a week, and my instructor has a very nice garden in which he has some Asian flowers. He gave me and my other classmate Asian Lilies, which are these pink and white flowers that smell strongly, but pleasently. He said they were like carnations on steriods - it's true.

Not much else to 'report'. School resumes in about three weeks, and I'm hoping to have gotten the electives I chose - Visual Arts II (Should be no problem), Painting I and Applied Design. ...Can you tell I like art?

I've decided to post an Aphorism I wrote for school - it's not very good, but I want you to read it. And you will.... ninja

A Child’s Philosophy

Let that innocent child play, and yet when it is time to grow up, resist and cling to that inner laughter.

Heh. I like the title. By the way, I'll be sure to check out your FictionPress account, alright? I love your writing.

The dancing Alans. The dancing ALANS! :laughs:

And you've quite the talent for art, so it's no wonder. Hope you get them, because I'm sure you'll do great, ya?

Since I dropped Spanish, I'll be happy! I just dont want to be stuck into Drama or something.
And yay! Review!! I need more reviews! ^_^

You dropped Spanish? Por que?

Drama's fun. Not that I'm a good actress or anything, though. However, in school. they tend to choose the popular kids.

Wow. I didn't know you could write semi-romance. Wonderful writing! Ryan's at work until 5am, so I think I'll have time to read it all.

Oh, I'll find some goggles, trust me.

::Basks in the praise:: You'd be surprised what I can do. You should read the first thing I ever wrote. Very nature oriented, and shockingly slightly spiritual...for a 12 year old...

Whoa..5AM. Ugh....
I hated the teachers. Baccoli was crazy and Phillips was boring and hated me. Ask Alan.

Are you kidding me, Megz?! It's awesome. Reminds me of myself, in a way. How I like to refuse to grow up. Well, I want to get out of the house, but I certainly don't want to get out of my childhood.

Yeah? I want to read it! My stories usually had something to do with the main character dying. I never liked how all of the stories you hear end in a happy ending, because, well, life isn't always like that. I think I scared a few kids at school with those tales...

Well, then, I don't suppose I blame you, ya?

::Flashes badge proclaiming her as a dark writer, handing you one as well:: I HATE happy ending/flowery mushy crap! Bleck!

I'll PM it to you. ^_~

Yes. Yes, you should. I really need to get to writing something, anything. I've been so busy, and it's good for me to vent through writing. I suppose that's why journals were make, though, ya?
