Today I went to my first hockey game and I must say I'm fully in love with hockey now! It first started off and they were just going back and forth but it was fun to watch because they get so close and are always hitting the glass. Anyway for a while I just watched the people around me and right behind me there was this little boy, maybe about 5 and he was just the cutest little thing. He had this cute little voice and was always like "omg! he got hit" or "where's the puke daddy!" He was so adorable!! Then there was a bunch of little girls in front of me and they had a poster of all the players and they kept pointing out the player that they wanted for boyfriends. Also cute and funny. But those girls were right, those players were so hot i was wondering why the ice around them wasn't melting
Then in the 2nd....something all these fights broke out!! It wasn't even 6 seconds! They said the other players are suppose to hold the other team just so they dont get in the fight but they all started fighting. ALL OF THEM. This was the funniest.the 2 goalies were at their own ends and they look at each other and then start skating towards each other, then they start taking their gear off and when they are in reach they wail on each other!!! During the whole game there were about 5 fights and they just got you wond up.
You could see the crowd change as time went on. The later it was the drunker the crowd. We had great seats like 1 row back before these boxes things but these like 20 year olds were so drunk and they were hitting the glass and screaming. I learned in hockey you have no pity for the other team. Every time we scored they would go 1! 2! 3! ITS ALL YOUR FAULT, YOU SUCK, LOSER. I was like....did they really just say that....and they did. It was soooo mean but kinda just a little funny.
We did win the game and I can't wait for the next one. Soon baseball season starts too. I am a sports fan!!
