Rants and Rave of Calosis
The great weight debate in America
I just want to add my 2 pounds to this topic, as it seems so active in the forums. If dating or attraction can be compared to a meat market, then most people don't go there looking to get bones, they want meat. Yet, only a very few will buy a whole cow, and conversely not many will be looking for chicken bones.

Yes, you can be to small and to big too, taken to the extreme different sides of the debate. I don't think very many people would find the opposite sex attractive if they were 70 pounds, or if they were 400 pounds!

More important than actual body weight in this debate is the person confident with their body size and shape. This can make all the difference in how attractive a person can be. Some lucky people are blessed with a perfect body. I would think very few fall into this area, while the rest, are working to loss weight, or gain weight.

It seems like in America today that we are just getting bigger and bigger as a society. I think part of this can be blamed on the life style we lead, which is busy and pressed for time. We have cut out most homemade meals, for prepackaged meals, that are high in fat, sodium, and calorie content, but they are not filling. Also, we have become a fast food nation, which is totally bad food, high fat content, dense calories. We need to eat a health diet, with plenty of vegetables and fruit. If we could also exercise three times a week, for 15-20 each time that would be great!

Note: To lose or gain weight is simple.
To gain weight, take in more calories, and use less calories.
To loss weight, take in less calories, and use more calories.
