Where I live we have about 5 thrift, or resale stores in the area, each of them smell like dust of course. LOL Yet, I have found some really great stuff there, be it blue polos for work, or a unique pair of pants. I have even found some furniture at great prices, the old furniture, made out of solid wood! One store has the policy of all clothing items are $1.29, with the fifth one free. This is a great deal, and add some diversity to your wardrobe. Also, I wash everything I buy a few times in a hot water cycle, with Tide, fresh scent. Really does a good job IMHO.
I would never buy undergarments, or socks from there, just my personal hangup I guess. These items have to be purchased new, and I'm so very selective about them.
