OK here's my sad attempt at a poem that i'm writing because i have nothing else to write for my nightly journal and here goes . . .

For years I saw your face for years i knew your name
through all this time i've traced I know I've felt the same.
It's still the same old heart that's beating, the same old feelings too
though my past has left me bleeding, all i care about is you.

Though time has passed us by and we have so far still to go
the loss of you would make me cry and so I'm begging please don't go.
My heart was cased in ice and but then you made me see
sad thoughts never come twice because you have set me free.

So as long as I'm still breathing and your love is still the same
For you my heart will keep on beating because my love finally came.
